My iRobot Roomba keeps showing full even after cleaning and wont run?

If Roomba continues to indicate the bin is full after you have emptied the bin, it means you have not thoroughly cleaned the bin full sensors and/or the sensor ports. After you have cleaned all six full bin sensors and ports, it may be necessary to clear the error by rebooting the robot.

Red triangle and roomba stopped

If you get a red triangle with the two tone beep, and no voice prompt, roomba 770 runs for a few minutes or just immediately goes to red triangle...if you have thoroughly cleaned moving parts and find no obstructions, you may have the problem I had that stumped me for a week. Remove the trash bin, with roomba upside down, and there are 4 silver contacts that connect to two metal tabs on the trash bin. Over time the contacts lose some of their contact pressure. Use needle nose pliers to slightly rebend them so they make good contact to the trash bin contacts. These contacts feed the vacuum motor inside the trash bin. That fixed mine.

Roomba appears to be working fine, goes over the whole house with no trouble, but then house is still dirty and no dirt is in his dirt bin.

if there is dust in the filter and none in dirt bin check to see if brushes are turning, you can do this by running the roomba with bin out, if not turning clean thoroughly, remove yellow tips on ends to check for trapped hair, replace brushes and turn them manually in one direction a few times and then run roomba again, you may need to do this a couple of times

Bin barely fills. Lots of dog hair between brushes and bin, and is now dropping hair balls as it goes around the house

This is why Roomba recommends a thorough clean of your carpet with a standard vac prior to using your mini vac. Once all heavy debris has been removed, the roomba will maintain that state of clean. If you have that much dog hair, you cant expect such a small roller, brush and dustbin to keep up. sounds like you need the dirt dog instead. It is capable of handling heavier demand areas. Or the

Roomba dirt in filter but NOT in bin

possibly the vacuum fan is plugged up or not spinning fast enough to pick up heavier items. disassemble the back canister and clean the fan chamber.(THis is one area of regular maintenance). if it is all clean then try to replace the motor. The other possiblity... You have one damn clean house. :)

My roomba 400 series keeps stopping on its own

Take off the grill on the back of the bin. The round vacuum impeller is behind it. Make sure that's clean and free of debris. Run the Roomba with that little grill still off the bin-- is the impeller turning? If yes, you may have fixed it. If not, your Roomba needs a new vacuum bin.

No suction on Roomba 560

Larger debris is usually the responsibility of the brushes. Remove the bin and run the Roomba-- are the brushes actually turning? If not, call customer support for a new cleaning head module. If so, remove the grill from the back of the bin. Make sure that the little fan inside is clean, then reinstall the bin on the Roomba and run it. If that little fan doesn't spin, your Roomba has lost vacuum suction and you need a new bin.

Roomba Discovery

did you replace the filter? when you remove the dust bin there is a small filter that needs to be cleaned, or replaced. You can buy a maintenance kit that replaces the brushes and filters as well, its good to replace them all regularly

Roomba brushes won't spin

I had this problem with my Roomba Discovery. I ran across your question while searching for an answer. My main symptoms were, Roomba hesitated a lot, and the dust bin did not fill. I had plenty of hair wrapped around the brushes and against the filter.
I just finished taking my Roomba apart. I found the motor drive shaft had a LOT of hair wrapped around it and it had climkbed into my gearbox. I took that apart and cleaned all the hair out of the gearbox. My Roomba is back to normal now, filling the dust bin.
