I have xerox dc 250 machine, it shows fault code 077-909, paper jam at tranfer module but i checked there is no paper in it??

'what sometimes happens is that the sensor flag/arm call it what you will, twists out of its holder and jams, hence the machine thinks that there is still paper. the flag/arm should pivot freely'

Xerox documate 510 locking up on windows 7

Hello.

I am a Support Engineer with Xerox Scanners. It sounds like others have given you great advice to address paper jams or locking up that you may be experiencing. If the "locking up" that you are experiencing is coming from the software, I would recommend updating to the latest available driver. I have written an article on the process that may be of use to you.

No paper message for ADF

I called Xerox and the technician told me the ADF cable was loose. I went home readjusted the ADF cable and now it works like a champ.

E9 code

E9 code means there is a paper jam.

Clearing Paper Jams
If your scanner stops scanning due to a paper jam in the Automatic
Document Feeder, a warning dialog box opens after a few
moments.
To clear a paper jam:
1. Press the ADF cover release on the top-left of the scanner
body to open the Automatic Document Feeder cover.
2. Remove the jammed paper and close the cover.
To reduce the number of paper jams, smooth and straighten the
paper before scanning and adjust the guides to the paper size.

Pulls through too many pages at once

In the scanner where it pulls the paper in, there are rubber pads that hinder the paper feed from pulling more then one sheet. Those wear out and need to be replaced.

Documate 510 scanner ADF problem

Hello.

If the feed rollers are worn out beyond the point of cleaning, you will need to have the scanner serviced or replaced.

XEROX DOCUMATE 510

The rollers and retard pad need replaced.
The rollers are self explanitory, the retard pad is so named to retard the feed of multiple sheets of paper.
That is your problem.
