You may simply rename the files to something else and then try to send them via bluetooth.
Example:
rename "blue.sis" to something like "blue.sis_"
or rename "blue.midi" to "blue.mi"

any name can be tried.

Download the program 'X-plore' from
http://www.lonelycatgames.com/?app=xplore

(you scroll down to the bottom and click "download software")

then install the 'S60_3rd edition...." file to your mobile. i tried it and i can send MIDI files on my N95 im sooooooo happy hehehe!! ^^!!! by the way, i use the 'free' version that doesn't have all the features in it, but its enough to be able to send things : )

goodlucK!

The phone's browser is set up to stop people sending applications and music to one another in case people are sending music to each other instead of using the music shop that nokia are about to open ;) I recommend you download a piece of freeware called "Y Browser" and all of the plugins that go with it as this will let you bluetooth anything and gives access all areas to the file system of your phone. It will also let you save things to your memory card that people bluetooth to you and save it out of your messages and other useful things. I have tested this ok and have bluetoothed this app and associated plugins to other n95 users since.

My Samsung galaxy portal GT-15700 phone will not allow files to be transfered to mobile, or to even transfer files to my computer or to send this files via bluetooth. It always says 'not...

I have the same problem with the same phone.
I bought a Zeemote (bluetooth controller) which needs to have a .sis file installed on the phone, but the phone does not recognize the file type.
Please help.

As for mefonna's problem, I usually connect my phone to my laptop, go into 'My Computer' to access the phone and just transfer files (drag and drop) across directly to your phone from there.
There is also an app you could download called 'Bluetooth File Transfer' (which is free) to transfer files via bluetooth.

Sending SIS files via bluetooth from NOKIA to NOKIA or other phone

Some nokia phones does not permit to send contents like *.sis files or .sisx files. If you really need to send those files to other phone. Just rename the file with file manager software in your phone. Rename *.sis files to *.jpg, or *.mp3, and send it to other phone via bluetooth. then rename back as *.sis or *.sisx from receiver handset and use the file.

I can send files via my blackberry pearl 8110 bluetooth, but iam

1. Go to Media.
2. Hit the menu key (left of trackball) and select Explore.
3. Browse to the folder you want to store the file in.
5. Hit Menu key again and select "receive using bluetooth."
6. Send from the other phone.

You'll have to do this for each file individually.

Also make sure that you have paired with the device you are trying to receive from. In my limited experience i noticed that NOTHING transfers unless you are paired.

There is one more setting I would check, go to OPTIONS/SECURITY/GENERAL SETTINGS/make user the the
option for CONTENT PROTECTION is disabled.

Not able to send anythin via bluetooth....!!!

I don't know whether its exactly the solution or not, but I had a similar problem transferring some mp3 files to any cell via bluetooth from my nokia 7210, I tried all combinations of bluetooth settings, but the same message kept appearing-"Sending failed", finally what I did was "Changing the name of the mp3 files" as all those I wanted to send had a bigger name, I cut the name short and there it worked. So, may be in any such case it's advisable to just try this out, it might just work.
