LCD screen is damaged - repair probably very expensive.

You can try replacing the battery, plugging it in, hard reset (if applicable)

Live it in a warm dry place for some days to see whats up.If no power get it repair.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). Having gone over five months without a response, I assume my suggestion to use a card reader solved the problem.
