Had a message on screen that would not go away, so I was pushing all the buttons to get to start up screen, which it finally did. I turned it off and now it won't turn back on. I tried holding down power button for 30 seconds, release, then 3 seconds. It didn't work. Please help
Hi Martha! I had this problem to with my Jazz Ultratab. I did a lot of research and found that if you hold the volume button down then press and hold the power button, that will bring it up in safe mode. You can then reboot from there. Mine kept acting up so I decided to use the option of reformatting to factory settings then adding my apps back to it (easy since it was google play & amazon).

First make sure the battery is charged, then try this 'factory reset' method instead of the one you mentioned (you will loose all data on the device, so hopefully you have a backup):
Turn off the unit; hold down the volume up and power buttons at the same time until the system recovery screen appears, then scroll down to 'Factory Reset' using the volume button and select using the power button.
