If you have not signed up for Skype yet:
You need to sign-up for Skype before starting using it. For this, download latest version of Skype application from the following link:
www.skype.com
Once you have downloaded the application, click on the application icon and sign up by following on-screen instructions. During the sign-up process, you will be prompted to enter a user-id and password of your choice. So enter the one that you prefer and can easily remember.   2. Then you go to Google click in the search box type Skype
  3. In bold words it will say Skype

You want a second account, for yourself? If your Skype logs in automatically when you start it... See the menu in top of the window? Go to Skype and select Sign Out. Then you will see the Skype welcome screen and the option to create a new account. Does that answer your question?

Bring up Skype. Sign Out of Skype. On the Sign In screen input your mothers Skype name and password. Check Start Skype when the PC laptop starts and sign in boxes. After first successful sign in with your mothers skype name all will be well. How come my gf cant log on to skype with an administrator account but can log on using a guest account when signing into windows.
Signing in to skype requires changing some data on your computer (minor skype files on preferences, remembering your log-in, etc.) Depending on the version of windows, you will not be able to sign in

Having problem signing up for skype
If you are logged in, sign out of Skype using File | Sign Out. If you are not logged in, you can immediately click on the link "Don't have a Skype Name". Follow the on-screen wizard to finish setting up a new account.
