From the New World Web site: "How do I set my timer/programmer into manual when it is set in auto? (5 & 6 button versions) On your timer there are two buttons, which read "cook time" and "ready time". If your timer is in automatic, you can return it to manual by pressing these two buttons simultaneously. REMEMBER - if your oven is in automatic it will not work until the time you set it to come on or if you return it to manual."
