Question about Goodman CKL24AR24 Air Conditioner

I have a Goodman mini split m# wmc12-1a and the remote is on C.and I want it on F. How do I change it?

There is a setting in the setup.

SOURCE: recently installed Goodman gmsg24crn1n mini-split

Its normal on a mini split for both lines to be cold. That is why you insulate both lines. The metering device is in the condenser in most mini splits.

it supposed to be this way it has to do with the remote is set u to run a certain number of cycles per hour and it is geared for maxium economy

What remotes are compatible with a Goodman WMH24-1A?

If it's a mini-split them all parts have been discontinued and goodman no longer manufactures mini-splits.

To change from Cecilius to Fahrenheit on the remote control, hold both the + and the - simultaneously and this will enable you to toggle between C and F. You will need to do this each time you change your batteries.

It's not an error. you have it set in auto mode and it is cooling. when it switches to heat the lights will switch as well. Set to cool only and it should go away.

PCB or your remote malfunction.Try with other remote. If it works, remote problem, otherwise, repair/replace PCB

I have a Goodman mini-split system with a remote control. When I set the remote for a certain temperature in the summer to 80 degrees, the unit reaches that but then keeps dropping the temperature another...

How far from the unit or room do you have the remote? remember the remote is the sensor, if it isnt near the unit it will not shut off! place the remote 8 feet from the unit and leave it there, if it doesnt shut off, it was installed wrong or is malfunctioning!

Broken remote model hg31as. can't find replacement. need to operate manually. How?

I have the same problem, i cant find any replacement for this remote, but you can turn it on lifting the filter plastic cover and looking for a switch at the right center of the console.

Goodman split not responding to remote

First turn the main power off to the unit at the breaker, wait about five min. and switch the breaker back on, then see if this solves the problem. In the instalation manual that came with the unit on the last page you will see a code of the red blinking light, this will tell you the most likely problem if not solved by switching the breaker on again.............Hope this helps
