SOURCE: dripping from drain spout

If you are refering to the "Dripping coming from the preasure tempature valve,Then just turn off the valve where the water goes into the heater and open the P/T valve with a bucket below it draining only emought water to get below the level where it reaches.     Normally the drain valves are plastic with a Male hosebib attached.  Attach a  garden hose to the rain and run it out to a point lower that the vaslve in order for gravity to drain the tank. The valve opens counter clock wise. If the valve is stuck or does not drain, and you have a foor drain handy, remove the whole valve and replace it with a boiler drain valve.  If The tank is located below the drain level then you will have to either pump or carry the drain water to the higher level.     Replace the P/T valve  and reinstall the associated associated piping. I would use tefelon tape on the P/T pipe theads.    You may have to open a hot water faucet in order for the air to replace the water in the tank ,in order to drain.

SOURCE: I have a Model 41V50 Rheem water heater (50 gal.

You don't need to find the same exact model to replace your water heater, any 50 gallon water heater will do unless you have a brand specification that you like to stick with.

SOURCE: where is anode rod located on 100 Gallon rheem

Anode rods for tank-type water heaters are located on top of tank.
This is true since anodes are about 44" long.
Top of anode is standard 1-1/16" hex nut.
Anodes can be located in 2 different places: either directly screwed into top of tank -or- attached to hot water nipple.
Most times the exploded parts diagram in manual simply shows 'anode rod' without specifing exact location. If your tank has long warranty, then it can have two anode rods, and 1 will be on top and the other probably attached to hot water nipple, or there could be two anodes screwed into top of tank.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Replace-anode-rod.html

If anode is screwed into top of tank, then it will be under a plastic cap -or- it will be concealed under the top cover of tank.
Look for plastic cap, and if none shows, then remove screws holding down metal cover and look there for 1-1/16" hex nut.
Lastly, remove hot water nipple and check for anode located there.
If you have 2 anode rods, then replace with same metal for each.

Can i convert a Rheem ECO 180DVP (LP gas unit) to a natural gas unit ?

Rheem water heaters should not be converted from propane to natural gas. The burners have been optimized for the rated gas and will not work as well after conversion. (Unlike ranges where the gas/air flow ratios can be adjusted when the burner orifices and regulator are swapped, the water heater doesn't have that option.)

I wish I had better news for you. I recommend you get a new water heater for the LNG service; it will be safer and more efficient.

How do I convert my rheem water heater from lp to natural gas model#21vp40-1p

Call Rheem
Generally the company does not support changing type of gas since propane burns much hotter and has more pressure than natural gas.
You need different gas control valve, and need cast iron burner and orifice than matches that specific gas control valve.

Rheem 300170 HWS service manual

1) Rheem does not post service manuals.
Call Rheem and ask why, since the other big manufacturers, AO Smith and Bradford White do post service manuals.

2) You need new propane gas control valve, and matching combustion parts to fit existing tank.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Rheem-Water-Heater-parts-catalog.pdf
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/IMG_1826-LP-burner-450.jpg

3) Rheem does not recommend changing gas type, especially from natural gas to LPG.
LPG is higher pressure, and burns much hotter and requires cast iron burner, unlike the lighter-weight metal used for Natural gas burner.
The manifold tube and thermocouple must match the gas control valve, and gas-type and have correct thread for propane.
The combustion chamber and heat transfer surface can also be heavier metal for propane heaters.

Can the Rheem PTG2-42PVN be used with propane gas?

I believe PTG2-42PVN is natural gas.
Rheem site does not show that model number.
As a general rule, Rhemm does not recommend converting NG to LP and LP to NG
