try a software upgrade available at sharpusa.com find your model and download the software to a USB thumb drive then insert it into the USB port on the side of the set. enter into the menu go to "digital" select software upgrade and follow the promts. do not unplug or shut off the set until the upgrade is complete. if it doesn't recognize the software on your thumb drive try formating the thumb drive to FAT and not FAT32 reload the software and try again.
