Cut the mini din wire, you will see four wires inside the sleeves. The red wire is positive terminal, and black wire is negative terminal. Use any 12V DC adapter to connect. The adapter will light up. Good Luck.

22 years old today, a true relic.
ok not using it for its purpose, scanner
only as back lamp jig

sure 5vdc tried first, not wanting to blow it up
but there is no spec on this for sure pin functions nor voltages allowed
i use bench supply variable from 1 to 20v.
and not smoke it.

replace the rectifier pack as there should be no ac voltage at the voltage regulator
DC voltage should be 14.5-14.8 max
