there is a assess door in the back of the printer to remove any paper jams.its removable , you can pull that door outside by rewinding that channel on the back.

& check ur orange printer head & clean ur printer head

SOURCE: I had a paper jam
86 errors are usually generated when the carridge assembly cannot move all the way from left to right. Open the top door and check on both ends to ensure that a small piece of paper is not jammed there. It does not take much to cause this error. Also make sure that the print head retainer is seated properly as I have had that issue generate this error.
