Battery life recently purchased phone. Have it charged overnite and within two hours the battery shows one less bar on the inidicator. It drains itself out.

It sounds like your phone battery is no longer holding a charge. If the battery is less than a year old, go to a store location for your carrier and see if they will replace. Otherwise you will have to purchase a new battery.

Hi, what makes the phone battery to die to quickly, is because the battery cell to weak and almost damaged completely and it's unable to power the phone for too long.

The battery cell is damaged.So you will need to replace the battery with a new battery.

You can go to any phone store around your area and get a new battery to replace the old battery.

When a new battery is is purchased, usually comes with a factory battery life whic is not yet fully charged.You will need to charge the battery for longer hour before use.

After purchasing a new battery, make sure you take time out to charge the battery properly for about 4 to 6 hour before use,otherwise battery cell can go flat again in no time.

Seems like your phones battery is weak. Try these to increase the battery timings:

• Let your phone to completely draw its battery, once its fully uncharged then recharge it completely and then use it. That will prolong the talk time and battery life too.
• Lower the brightness of your phone, that will result in less consumption of battery.
• If it does not helps then consider buying a new battery, but hopefully that wont be needed.

too many causes can happen for this types of problem.
1) if the battery condition not good, i mean (any type of manufacturing fault)
2) battery contain a internal electronic circuit. if any types of problem like short circuit or semi short circuit.
3) if any short circuit in the charge control section in that phone.

now i think first u can check with a new battery & observe it if any improvement.
otherwise u contact with any qualified service technician please.

I'm not certain what your question is you made a statement more or less.

I do know that alot of cell phones will show that they are fully charged after minutes of charging, but then very quickly go back down to almost dead within an hour. This is because the phone is not actually fully charged. Most batterys need at least an hour minimum to be fully charged after its drained completely.

I think you have to replace the battery..

You need to replace your battery.  When you do follow these steps to preserve battery life.
1.  Fully charge battery for 24 hours 2.  Make sure that you use the phone without charging it until the phone tells you the battery is low. 3. Fully charge the battery until it reaches full again.
The reason your battery is failing to hold a charge is a problem call battery memory.  The less power that you use off the battery the less capacity the battery has.
