The normal way is that there is a small door on the outside of where the light is. Generally one or two screws to remove the little door. Replace the bulb with the same type, a 25 watt SES Appliance bulb.

Most home Microwaves draw about 12-14 amps. You could figure your wattage at about 1680 watts. Calculated by factoring the voltage of most units 120V times the typical amperage draw of 12-14 amps. so wattage is volts times amps or (12-14 X 120) 1440-1680 watts

Google the model with specs or specifications.

According to the GE quick specs sheet, this is a 1000-watt oven, 1.6 cu. ft. capacity. You can also download the manual here if you need a copy.

I don't own one but per the TastiWave Quick Start Guide (which can be downloaded as a PDF document), The wattage must not exceed 1300 Watts. In the Instruction manual and quick cook recipe guide (also a downloadable PDF document) it states that:
"The recipes in this booklet have been written for an 1100 Watt microwave oven. Please adjust your “cook times” accordingly. Microwave must have a revolving turntable and the interior
must measure at least 14” wide x 14” deep x 7 3/4” high".

If your manual covers several different models, it may not tell the wattage at all.

According to the owner's manual (page 11) it is 700 watts.
