I did search the site for my model and issue and came up with nothing. I also tried searching the internet, which is why I posted my question. So power supply regulator board - is that on the power supply board? Can I just replace that? Thanks

Are you hooking the tv up to anything ie....dvd player

  • John W Jul 05, 2014

It was NOT the power supply board. Replaced the main board and it powered up and works fine.

Replaced the main board and the unit powered up and works fine. Was not a power supply issue.

I have an LG LED TV model 50LN5600-ui. It has no picture, does has sound and the backlight turn on for just a second. could it be the T-com or LED strips?

Hi Omar,
Most likely it is the backlight in your TV causing this problem. Please check the backlight strips if you can. T Con board has nothing to do with this fault. I hope it helps.
Good luck.

Can you help me troubleshoot my TV? It has audio but no picture.

Use a voltmeter to confirm all the voltages are present when the TV is powered on. If they are all correct then replace the led driver.

TROUBLE SHOOT LC-60E78UN TV

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Over the last couple of days my tv has no picture intermittingly

If the TV is older than 3-5 years or do, it is probably an LCD model with a fluorescent backlight. These backlights have issues with the inverter boards and/or the tubes failing over time. This is why newer flat-panels have gone to LED backlighting. Without the backlight, the picture is actually on the screen, but you aren't able to view it because there is no light to illuminate it. These CAN be repaired, but the cost of new TVs makes it almost most cost-effective to upgrade to an LED TV.

Sharp 52" Aquos LCD Will Not Turn ON-Blinking LEDs

I had a similar problem. Fleeting video, then audio only for few seconds and then nothing except the green power LED blinking on and off.
I changed the power inverter board, backlight inverter boards and power supply board but still the problem is not gone.

Just 18 month old TV and out of warranty.
