Can not get DAB radio too work on my Vita audio but FM radio works fine

This may be because you live in an area where DAB reception is currently poor, but to check this, please use our postcode checker (see 'check your DAB coverage' panel on the right) to see which DAB stations you should be able to receive. If reception for your area appears to be good, then it may be down to local conditions or building materials. Buildings constructed from steel and reflective glass are not good for radios with internal aerials as they reflect and greatly reduce the strength of signal. In such a case an external aerial will greatly improve reception, but most importantly, if you are using the supplied telescopic aerial, you should ensure that it is properly fitted and fully extended upright.
Secondly, when our products are first powered up from new, they automatically scan the DAB network to see which services are available. During this process it is important that the radio is not touched and that the aerial has been correctly fitted and extended as instructed. If this has not been done then it is likely that not all stations will be detected and only the strong ones displayed. To correct this a new AutoScan/AutoTune or System Reset should be performed as instructed elsewhere in our Q&A's.

The am radio is unclear with a lot of static. Can this be cleared up?

Try moving the unit to another area, sometimes certain parts of a room get better reception. You might also just live in an area with weak reception.

Poor am radio reception for my 2004 Kia Sedona

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

There may be a lot of interference that's why you have a poor am signal. This is a common problem on all car radio when it comes to am unlike the fm that has good signal even on low areas. Well I guess that this is something that we should live with.

Hope this helps and thank you for using Fixya! Have a good one!

The screen keeps flashing on and off.it shows the wallpaper picture for about 7 or 8 seconds then goes off for about the same time.it repeats this constantly when in a low reception area and randomly at...

This is apparently an indication that an application is running. I found that Messenger was running for some reason (I never use it) & once I turned it off, the flashing stopped. Check for running applications.

Poor radio reception on a Santa Fe that has the aerial as part of the near side rear window, is there a mod to improve reception.

if you live in a weak reception area the only answer is a signal booster or a new aerial on the roof.

Poor reception through wooded areas , and over hills. overall poor performance, will not work sometimes 1hundred yards in woods. advertise 26 miles! any help appreciated

Poor reception will be experienced in wooded areas and this is normal as the trees absorb RF energy. Range is dependant on conditions and terrain. Better range over water and open Country side, poor range in the middle of a built-up area. Low band better in hilly areas and UHF better in buildings. I have yet to find a pair of walkie talkies that will talk for 26 miles without a repeater.

Poor FM reception

Having paid over $1,800 for 3 Bose Wave systems in the past year, I was surprised and quite dismayed to find that Bose is trying to squeeze a few more bucks out of me in order to provide some very simple information. My Solution: I will never purchase another of your radios. Most humbly, Dr. Jerome Eldridge

Poor FM reception

The Phone must be on.
The SIM card must be a valid one.
The station you listen to and the network operator you use, must support the service.
The headset or enhancement needs to be attached to your phone. for the FM radio to function properly, it's an aerial as well as a headset.
Therefor if you are in a poor reception area for making/receiving calls it will also affect the radio signal.
