Why does can't i tranfer my files from my jazz dv140 video recorder to my computer?
It shows what i took on the screen but when i try to tranfer it to my computer or even put the card in another camera it it says there is no files on card? i put the card back in the recorder and they are there and can be watched.

Mine did the same thing. Come to find out I had the wrong SD card. What walmart sold me was an SD Adapter card. So make sure you have the right type of SD card.
SD cards should be available at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store. The brand doesn't matter, though I'd stick with the major brands. Make sure you get an SD card and not an SDHC card.
first you tranfer the video to you computer then you computer problably have a burn cd and dvd burner, so you can tranfer you video files to a dvd disc.
the resolution of this camera is not very high, with only 3.1 megapixels. you can go to websites like fixmyvideo.com to improve the video, but to get better quality in future videos I would suggest buying a camera with more megapixels. 7 or 8 megapixels are relatively good and you can get a camera with that many for about $90.
