Windows Media Player lacks the related and suitable codec for the player to recognize FLV format. Therefore, the direct solution for this issue is to download and install a codec for it. Also, you can convert FLV to WMV which can be supported by Windows Media Player. Or you can try to download Leawo Blu-ray Player, which can support FLV without the need to download FLV codec or conversion.

The problem is your satio media player is not support flv file, if you want to solve this problem, you just need a flv video converter to convert this flv to the common video that supported by the media player, maybe you can try to convert the video to mp4. Good luck.

I have downloaded the Youtube grabber file to My Documents and that was successful. But now that I am trying to play the clips on windows media player, it will not play. Says something about wrong file...

No usually media player will not play this type of file it will be a FLV type file format.
You can download some stand alone player to play the fiiles like this.

OR you can also download and install this package, this will allow Media PLayer to play the UTube files as well.
Both works well.
I hope this will help your out.
