Zoom adjustment wont move, chg battery and no help. help

  1. In many apps, you can zoom in or out on specific items. For example, you can double-tap or pinch to look closer in Photos or expand webpage columns in Safari. You can also use the Zoom feature to magnify the screen no matter what you're doing. You can magnify the entire screen (Full Screen Zoom) or magnify only part of the screen with a resizable lens (Window Zoom). And, you can use Zoom together with VoiceOver.
  1. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Zoom, then turn on Zoom.
  2. Adjust any of the following:
    • Follow Focus: Track your selections, the text insertion point, and your typing.
    • Smart Typing: Switch to Window Zoom when a keyboard appears.
    • Keyboard Shortcuts: Turn on keyboard shortcuts to control Zoom.
    • Zoom Controller: Turn the controller on, set controller actions, and adjust the color and opacity.
    • Zoom Region: Choose Full Screen Zoom or Window Zoom.
    • Zoom Filter: Choose None, Inverted, Grayscale, Grayscale Inverted, or Low Light.
    • Maximum Zoom Level: Drag the slider to adjust the level.
  3. If you use iPhone with a pointer device, you can also set the following below Pointer Control:
    • Zoom Pan: Choose Continuous, Centered, or Edges to set how the screen image moves with the pointer.
    • Adjust Size with Zoom: Allow the pointer to scale with zoom.
  4. To add Zoom to Accessibility Shortcut, go to Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut, then tap Zoom.
  1. Double-tap the screen with three fingers or use accessibility shortcuts to turn on Zoom.
  2. To see more of the screen, do any of the following:
    • Adjust the magnification: Double-tap the screen with three fingers (without lifting your fingers after the second tap), then drag up or down. Or triple-tap with three fingers, then drag the Zoom Level slider.
    • Move the Zoom lens: (Window Zoom) Drag the handle at the bottom of the Zoom lens.
    • Pan to another area: (Full Screen Zoom) Drag the screen with three fingers.
  3. To adjust the settings with the Zoom menu, triple-tap with three fingers, then adjust any of the following:
    • Choose Region: Choose Full Screen Zoom or Window Zoom.
    • Resize Lens: (Window Zoom) Tap Resize Lens, then drag any of the round handles that appear.
    • Choose Filter: Choose Inverted, Grayscale, Grayscale Inverted, or Low Light.
    • Show Controller: Show the Zoom Controller.
  4. To use the Zoom Controller, do any of the following:
    • Show the Zoom menu: Tap the controller.
    • Zoom in or out: Double-tap the controller.
    • Pan: When zoomed in, drag the controller.
While using Zoom with Magic Keyboard, the screen image follows the insertion point, keeping it in the center of the display. See Use Magic Keyboard with iPhone.
To turn off Zoom, double-tap the screen with three fingers or use accessibility shortcuts.

My icons are too big and i cant reduce the size???

Hi,

Please follow this steps to set back the font size or icons of your Iphone.

* Tap the "Settings" menu from the iPhone home screen.

* Tap "Accessibility."

*Tap the word "Off" next to "Zoom" to turn the Zoom feature on.

*Return to the iPhone home screen.

Tap the iPhone with three fingers twice in succession. The home screen icons will be magnified to 200 percent. To adjust the zoom level, touch the screen with three fingers then move them up to increase the zoom, and down to lower it. The next time you tap the screen twice with three fingers, the iPhone will automatically return to your custom zoom level.

Icon very big how can i make it small

First of all try this: Tap the iPhone with three fingers twice in succession. The home screen icons will be magnified to 200 percent. To adjust the zoom level, touch the screen with three fingers then move them up to increase the zoom, and down to lower it. 2. Tap "Accessibility."
  3. Tap the word "Off" next to "Zoom" to turn the Zoom feature on.
  4. Return to the iPhone home screen.

To adjust the zoom level, touch the screen with three fingers then move them up to increase the zoom, and down to lower it. The next time you tap the screen twice with three fingers, the iPhone will automatically return to your custom zoom level.
Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.

My iphone had magnified the icons so that you can only see six at a time on the screen, how do i get that back to normal?

This might help....

ZoomMany iPhone applications let you zoom in and out specific elements. For example, you can double-tap or use the pinch gesture to expand webpage columns in Safari. Zoom is a special accessibility feature that lets you magnify the entire screen of any application you’re using to help you see what’s on the display.
Turn Zoom on or off: In Settings, choose General > Accessibility > Zoom and tap the Zoom On/Off switch.
NOTE: You cannot use VoiceOver and Zoom at the same time.
Zoom in or out: Double-tap the screen with three fingers. By default, the screen is magnified by 200 percent. If you manually change the magnification (by using the tap-and-drag gesture, described below), iPhone automatically returns to that magnification when you zoom in by double-tapping with three fingers.
Increase magnification: With three fingers, tap and drag toward the top of the screen (to increase magnification) or toward the bottom of the screen (to decrease magnification). The tap-and-drag gesture is similar to a double-tap, except you don’t lift your fingers on the second tap—instead, drag your fingers on the screen. Once you start dragging, you can drag with a single finger.
For best results using three-finger gestures, relax and let your fingers touch the screen naturally.
Move around the screen: When zoomed in, drag or flick the screen with three fingers. Once you start dragging, you can drag with a single finger so that you can see more of the screen. Hold a single finger near the edge of the display to pan to that side of the screen image. Move your finger closer to the edge to pan more quickly. When you open a new screen, Zoom always goes to the top-middle of the screen.

My IPhone screen is magnified and it won't go back to normal size. All icons are very large

Easy, take three fingers and double tap your screen. Now that your phone is back to normal, change your settings so that this doesn't happen again. Go to settings, click on general, click on Accessibility, click on Zoom, then turn it off. Now, this wont ever happen again.

Tap feature on MAcbook 2.4Ghz 2GB

I am running mac OS 10.5.5 and Win XP using parallels.  You need to make sure the system preferences in the mac OS to allow two fingers for secondary click using the trackpad. This allows you to right click in Win XP.
I find using two fingers and clicking the button works more reliably in windows xp.  I usually have to try two finger tapping a few times.

To right click by tapping: Go to System Preferences and choose Keyboard & Mouse.  Select "Clicking" and "Tap trackpad using two fingers for secondary click". This allows you to tap the trackpad with two fingers side by side to get the "right click" effect.  You can also right click without tapping with this setting.

To right click without tapping:
Go to System Preferences and choose Keyboard & Mouse.  Select "For secondary clicks, place two fingers on the trackpad then click the button". This allows you to right click by placing two fingers on the trackpad and then clicking the mouse button. 0acf97a.png
