Hi, if you wire all voice coils in parallel, you will get down to 1.5 ohms. That is the lowest you can go with these 2 subs. Just hook the amps' positive to all 4 positive speaker terminals and the amp negative to all 4 speaker negative terminals. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

How do i wire a solar baric l5 to a planet audio 999w amp?

You should bridge your speaker on the amplifier. Check your connections on your amp. Normally it will be the - (Minus) on the left channel and the + (positive) on the right channel

I am wondering about car amplifiers, I don't know what kind to get, I have Alpine 6.5" 2-Way Car Speakers (SPS-600), 80 watt as my front speakers, and Alpine 6 1/2" 2-Way Car Speakers (SPR-17C), 100 watt...

I would strongly recommend that you get a 5 channel amp that puts out 75watts rms per channel that will deliver between 200-300 watts to the sub channel. I use planet audio amps myself and they run strong all day every day-maybe you could look at a planet audio vrx 600.5(5-channel) it throws 100w x4 and 200 or 300 to the subs depending on the resistance of the sub. Good luck

Wiring options

Hello chino2g,

For 3 DVC 4 ohm subs wired to a 2 ohm stable amp, your best option would be to wire all of the sub voice coils in series (individual 8 ohm loads) and then parallel the three subs for a final load of 2.67 ohms. There's really no other configuration. Here's the wiring diagram:

Hope this helps.

I have a Hifonics BXI1208d mono subwoofer amp but i have 2 sets of wire terminals and they go negative negative postive postive. Which do I use?

Depends if its bridgeagle or bridge internally. bridgeing provides the most power to a mono system. 2 positives and 2 negative you have a 2 channel amp. Heres a link to check out, you should be able to figure out your system and hook it up with this. Hope it helps. http://www.wikihow.com/Bridge-an-Amplifier
