I am not sure as to what size fuse should be used if I supply 12V power from the vessel to the EV-200 unit . EV-200 provides power for a Type-1 hydraulic pump - 15A continuous power supply is required for pump. Installation instructions indicates that a 5 Amp fuse must be used for power supply to EV-200 ...... Is this correct ? Will appreciate some advice

The Mitsubishi units have to be reset by turning off the indoor units by switching the remote or thermostat to off. Then turn off the breaker to the outside unit(s). After 30 seconds, turn on the breaker and then you can turn on the remote for cool. If no lights come on on the inside units, most likely you have blown a fuse soldered on the main PC board. At this point, call your technician. A goos tech will be able to wire in an in-line fuse holder so if it should happen again, you can easily replace the fuse. If you do see a light or two come on at the indoor unit but the outdoor unit does not start after 3 or 4 minutes, sounds like you will need to call a technician. Most likely you have a blown fuse on the main PC board of the outside unit. It is not an easy one to replace. Good Luck!

Cell phone chargers commonly blow the fuses at the power points. It seems that our charger adaptors do not match the socket properly, and the positive part of the charger hits the negative of the socket, resulting in a blown fuse. If you have a charger, and it works, leave it in the socket. Don't take it with you. Repeated insertions of the adaptor to the socket magnifies this issue.

First figuire out the gallons per minute by running the oil out for a fixed size jug or can (ie. 5 gallon bucket) into another bucket of the same size. Time how long it takes to transfer all the liquid from one to another. Now he knows the gpm, the rule of thumb is for each two or three gallons for each gallon per minute of the pump. Note: The suction should have a strainer on it with a elbow at a 45 degree angle to prevent clogging. The return line pipe should be cut at a 45 degree angle with the large end towards the reservoir wall. This also prevents clogging and ensure the oil does not get picked up by the suction immediately so it can cool. A baffle plate between the suction and a return is also recommended. A solid plate with a gap at the bottom and lower than the operating fluid level will work effectively.

Once the heater is installed and the whirlpool pump is operating, the heater is totally automatic. The heater will help maintain the temperature of the water in the bath. The heater is equipped with a preset pressure switch. The pump must be running with water flowing in the whirlpool to allow the heater to turn on. The Indicator Light light turns on whenever the heater is operating. The heater includes an exclusive "Intelligent High-Limit". This safety circuit will not "false trip" from hot tap water. It will only turn the heater off if the thermostat fails. If the high-limit trips frequently, call a service technician. To manually reset the circuit in the event that the "High-Limit" switch has been activated, simply (1) Turn off the whirlpool pump. (2) Drain water from the tub. (3) Remove power from heater by unplugging at receptacle or turning off circuit breaker. (4) The heater circuit will automatically reset in less than 15 minutes. (5) Restore power to the heater. (6) Whirlpool bath is now ready to use.
Good Luck,
Wayne
