Using the 'P' key, 'C' key turn the key to the PROG position, PRESS the 0 (zero) key and then 0 (zero). At this point, press the key of the item that you wish to change or Enter the PLU # and press the PLU Key. If the description of the item is ok then press 'cash/enter' and then press it again. Adding new PLU problem keep getting PLU Program Error

Those machines have a memory allocation section where you need to define the file sizes for products, etc. If your file size is smaller than the machine you are copying from, then it wont work. Try setting the memory allocation first.

How do you reset the price for a xe-a302

There is no price re-set on cash registers. you just type the new price over the old one to edit it. Just follow the step through guide in the manual under PLU programming. It shows how to follow the flow system to edit each part of a PLU. If you need the flow chart, it is in here:

How do i programme/set new plu prices for a casio ce 3700

Are you sure you are using PLUs? The machine comes with departments on the keyboard as tsandard. If you are calling PLUs up by PLU number then you will need PLU programming. Otherwise, you need to set department prices. -----------------------------------------------------------------------
If anyone needs more information, the Casio CE-3700 manuals are here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/casio1.php

Casio TE-2400 PLU programming

Hi. You have been given the wrong instructions. That is why it is now all screwed up. Pricing is dead easy. You have condiments setup because you have set key features in prog 3 mode. It shouldn't be too hard to fix. We'll start with prices: Turn key to Program mode Type the price (no decimal point) Press a PLU (item button) to set the price to. Press SUBTOTAL To remove condiments, you need prog 3 mode. While key is on program, press 3 then SUBTOTAL. The display must change to "P3" Now press 0 (zero) then one of the PLUs that has condiments set. Press SUBTOTAL to finish. It may remove the tax status, so turn back to REG mode and test the PLU. If the tax has gone, then reprogram the tax setting for that PLU. Let me know if you get stuck. Mark

TK 1550 casio

Hi.
I haven't worked with the 1550, but most Casios are the same.
Try this:

Turn key to program.
Press 0
Press the PLU that you want to set as open priced.
Press SUBTOTAL

That will set the price as 0 for that PLU. Now we set the feature for that PLU to allow manual pricing.

Leave key on program.
3
SUBTOATL
0
Press the PLU again
SUBTOTAL

Try that. If you had tax set to that PLU, you may need to set it again.

Plu Price

PLU stands for price lookup , actually it does not lookup prices but it would be a price that is cross-referenced to a number like at a take-out restaurant.
