Dishwasher pumps water in and out, but does not wash

I have recently moved my mother's Bosch Exxcel SGS4442GB/01 dishwasher into my flat. It worked just fine before the move, is all connected up, plugged in, etc, but while it pumps water in and out, it now does not actually wash. I think something minor may have happened in transit - despite my protestations, it was moved laying on its back. All suggestions welcome!

Our machine has the same problem - the water is taken in and pumped out after the program is finished, but the water is not being fed into the rotating arms to wash the dishes. Is there a pump in the machine that pumps the water up the the arms? Where is this and is it easy to change?

My bosch exxcel dishwasher will not drain after wash cycle

That is because the water level switch activated by the floating sensor is stuck.

You probably need to have the water level switch replaced.

Wont drain!!!

Check first the drain lines and the drain pump.

If the drain pump is working, and there is no problem in there, then the problem is usually because the water level switch activated by the floating sensor is stuck.

You probably need to have the water level switch replaced.

Bosch Exxcel Auto Option/Detergent tablet does not dissolve?

It seem that your DW drain it's water by syphon action. Check if the drain hose is properly installed as a U shape; otherwise the DW can drain itself at any time, leaving the soap undissolved .
