ITunes contains a volume leveling program that works with every recording in your library or you can select each one individually by going to the library, selecting get info with the right mouse button, select options, and change the volume with the control you see on the screen and press ok.

It may be a problem with you headphones. Also make sure Sound Check is turned off!

if you load up your Ipod into Itunes and restore back to factory settings you can adjust that way.

If you're willing to take a risk.... theres rockbox.org download/install that. It will pump an extra 25% or more volume out.... But the layout is different and takes some getting used to...


also you can buy some better headphones... the kind that cover the whole ear and not those little ear bud things!

not at all ,On your ipod there is a volume CONTROLL LIMITER so look for that feature on the ipod and u would see that it is low and it possible that u can raise the volume.

click on the middle button and then u shows you the volume and then u click the right button to make it louder and left button lower!!!!!!!
