Look up the model number on the remote itself and the codes to program it. It's free.

You need to program the control board to match the refrigerator. Look for the serial plate and locate the number following "Code". That number is the program code and you will need that value.

1) press and hold Door Alarm keypad.
2) Press and hold the Freezer Temp Down keypad.
3) Release the Door Alarm keypad and wait 3 seconds. The refrigerator display should read PE - programming mode.
4) Press the Freezer Temp Down keypad to confirm that you are in the programming mode. Compare the Code number displayed to the one you recorded off the serial plate.
5) If they are the same, press and hold the Door Alarm keypad for 3 seconds to exit the programming mode.
6) Otherwise, press the Refrigerator Temp Up or Down keypads to change the first digit in the program code to get the correct value.
7) Press the Freezer Temp Up keypad to move to the next digit in the program code to adjust that. Use the Refrigerator Temp Up/Down buttons.
8) Repeat steps 6 and 7 until all of the digits match the Program Code from the serial plate of your appliance.
9) Press and hold the Freezer Temp Down button until the display begins to flash to save the code. If you hear a beep, the code is incorrect and was not saved.

If you heard a beep, return to steps 6 and 7 to correct the program code. Then go to step 9 again. If the code was saved, press any keypad to exit the programming mode.

Although I've been unable to locate a User Manual specific to your phone, the following information pertains to programming most all NorStar phones:

To Program Buttons On Your Phone:
For External Numbers:
1. Press the Feature button, then * 1
2. Push the button you want to program
3. Display will read "Program and OK"
4. Enter the telephone number, then press the OK softkeyFor Internal Numbers (Extensions.:
1. Press the Feature button, then * 2
2. Push the button you want to program
3. Display will read "Intercom #:__"
4. Enter the extension number
For Feature Codes:
1. Press the Feature button, then * 3
2. Push the button you want to program
3. Press the Feature button then enter the Feature Code
To Change the Contrast of the Display:
1. Dial the Feature button, then * 7
2. Press the number keys 1 - 9 to your desired brightness level
3. Press the OK softkey
To Change your Ring Type:
1. Press the Feature button, then * 6
2. Press the number keys 1 - 4 to hear the different ring types
3. Press the OK softkey when you hear your desired ring
To Change the Ring Volume:
1. Press the Feature button, then * 80
2. Press the volume key up or down
3. Press the release key1 to exit and save the volume level
To Program Personal Speed Dial Numbers: (Numbers 71 - 94 only.)
1. Press the Feature button, then * 4
2. Enter the 2 digit code (71 - 94. that you want to assign to that phone number
3. Enter the telephone number, then press the OK softkey

A registration code is typically a 20+ digit character set for a program that is the computer program's license. If you just purchased a new windows disc its typically in the inside of the windows box but on the back typically of the holders/paperwork. Most programs all have their sets broken up into 4-6 character chunks. Most programs (operating systems for that matter) will ask you for a Product Key, Serial Number, CD Key, Registration code, etc... when your installing said program. Just enter the long sets of numbers into the system exactly as you see it. Just be careful for 0 (zero) and O (capital o) because some fonts they look VERY similar. you can typically spot the difference if you see two sizes in the code you have the larger/wider one is the letter and smaller/narrower is the number.

To make a call using a speed dial code:
1. Press FEATURE 0.

To program personal speed dial numbers:
1. Press FEATURE *4.
2. Enter a two-digit code from 71 to 94.
3. Specify the external line by pressing a line button, a line pool button, or

4. Dial the telephone number you want to program (up to 24 digits).
5. Press HOLD.
6. Record the code and number you have just programmed.
Note: You cannot program personal speed dial numbers while another
user is programming your system.

To program the remote control Press and hold VCR.DVD, SAT/CABLE or AUX for over 2 seconds until the LED on the remote control turns off. If the correct code number is entered, the LED blinks three times. If you enter a code not listed below, or you press any other buttons than SEARCH and 100+, the LED turns off. To search codes Press ad hold VCR/DVD,SAT/CABLE or AUX for over 2 seconds unil the LED turns off. Release the button (the LED wil light again) and the remote control enters the PROGRAMMING mode. Press SEARCH. Press CH+/- to search codes downwards or upwards. Each time you press CH+/-, the code number decreases or increases by 1 while the remote control sends the code number for POWER button on your device. If the desired code number is found,press 100+ to program the code for your device until the LED blinks three times.Then the remote control exits from the PROGRAMMING mode and returns to norml operation. Or press any other button to exit from the PROGRAMMING mode after the LED blinks rapidly eight times, and the operation is not active. To check the current code number Press and hold VCR/DVD, SAT/CABLE or AUX for over 2 seconds until the LED turns off. Release the button (the LED will light again) and the remote control enters the PROGRAMMING mode. Press 100+ . You may read the code numder according to the LED display status as follows. * If there is no operation within 20 seconds during the steps mentioned above, the remote control will automatically exit from the appropriate operation.
