Why clicking sound when powered up - Samsung UN55B8000 55 in. LCD HDTV

At this point, you need to contact ASUS by going to their web site, or calling their toll-free number, if you have it. They are going to have to provide assistance on this. Hopefully, this laptop is still under warranty.

Otherwise, maybe someone else here can give you a better idea of how to solve this problem.

If there was no clicking sound before and now there is after you installed a hard drive (goes click...click...click) then that is bad. A clicking sound is what you never want to hear from a hard drive. Means it's bad.
Fans don't make clicking sounds.

TV needs lamp replacement as existing lamp got weak or has been reached to end of its working life, please note that lamp is not dead or broken so that is why lamp lit is not lit at tv front.

you have to install sound driver software to that supports your pc motherboard... then restart it will work...

have the power supply tested or use a diff power supply in your cpu, just to see if the clicking sound will disappear,if it disappear then a power supply replacement would be beneficial, if not then have your cpu check by a qualified tech to see where is that sound coming from

tv will not power on. red light on switch blinks. power relay clicks, but no picture or sound.

Clicking is probably the infamous lifter sound.....do a oil change and put 5w30 in it and add 1 qt rislone oil additive/engine treatment in it.......as far as the lack of power check your plugs and air filter...still no power check for a plugged catalytic converter

The sound is coming from a failed flyback auto transformer. You will need to replace that.
