How to fix a yellow sensor error - Xante Ilumina Digital Color Press Printer

Causes

• Black, magenta, cyan, or yellow TD sensor disconnected • Harness between TD sensor and PCDU defective • Defective TD sensor

Remedy

1. Check the black, magenta, cyan, or yellow TD sensor connector and harness between the TD sensor and PCDU for damage. 2. Check the drawer connector. 3. Replace the defective PCDU.

From what I just read if the same model sounds like the motor sensor could be bad It says it should read around 118 ohms at the two yellow wires when disconnected at the board.
Not sure if the motor will have to be replaced if the sensor is bad
the inverter can also be the problem

Print head, head management sensor, or main controller PCB
1) Replace the print head.
2) Visual check
Remove foreign substances from the head management sensor if any.
3) Replace the head management sensor.
4) Cable continuity check
If continuity of the cable between the head management sensor and the main controller PCB is abnormal, replace
the cable.
5) Replace the main controller PCB

E-3 means indoor motor mechanism locked or no power to motor.Check& rectify motor and PCB.

Did you try replacing the cartridge? It could be the cartridge itself. Also, on a lot of printers there is a software utility that allows you to clean the cartridge. You can find this out from your manufacturer manual. But I would suspect the cartridge itself. Good luck!

try to move up the silver plate unther the print head.
this silver plate is the "print head open" and the media sensors.

Replace Toner and Drum clean everything and it should fix ur issue
