Ford Focus. no year? NO CRANKS>
as always. this.
1: voltmeter at battery terms. 12.6v? if lower battery needs charged (summer answer) ( left head lights on? Alternator dead?)
2: did you jumper start car yet, I yes, and it starts the battery was dead or bad.
3: jumper start fails. next is hot wire the starter solenoid.
no cranks, is caused here by, bad starter or bad rusty cables or terminals, did you clean the battery terms first?
yes, cranks hot wired. that means the KEY line is dead.
the key line goes dead for many reasons.
1: if A/T tranny, the PRNDL switch bad.
2: if M/T tranny a bad clutch switch,
3: as always bad fuses, bad wires, all along this path
4: The Immoblizer on some cars cut cranking. (not looking yours up)
5: bad key switch.
works for most cars ( see 5 ways)
