SOURCE: Scooter has full charge but still won't go.

It probably means that the connections or wiring from your battery are loose or broken. When you add the extra current required to run the motors, the voltage is being lost. Monitor the battery voltage with a meter while trying to drive the scooter will prove this.

SOURCE: pride victory Scooter battery charged won't run

Its probably too late to give my opinion, but here goes anyway.
I had a similar problem with my mothers scooter and it turned out to be a faulty connection on the wires leading to the motor. I simply pulled the plastic connection apart, cleaned and lubricated the contacts, refitted the connection and all was well.

SOURCE: Rascal scooter mo 655 motor stops going up hills

the batteries could be the problem, is it possible to try some other batteries, silly question , how steep is this hill ? remember scooters cannot climb steep hills as the motor will shut down due to the increased load.

1 Year old batteries ok ? but if they get used on a non daily basis and are not fully charged after use, I would question the batteries but again the motor could be overloading,

How much do you weight ? sorry for the personal question but it all loads the motor and that increases the current and that will cause the motor controller to shut it down.

SOURCE: batteries are fully charged but won't go forward

it should show 24v not 13,5volts, sounds like you only measuring one battery,

Check the fuse under the seat and check the reset button,

Could be a bad connection to the batteries or to motor check the B+, B- voltages, should show around 24v.

SOURCE: I have a Pride Legnd..the scooter started loseing

hi, first you need to check the connections to the batteries then to the motor controller, and don't dismiss the speed pot, disconnect the speed pot and try a normal 5K pot inplace of it, if the scooters responds you find the problem just a case of getting the right speed pot. Check the freewheel switch, normally it located on the motor side.

Scooter won't move when forward/reverse engaged.

Engage the freewheel lever
- allows you to operate the mobility equipment with the standard controls.
Disengage the freewheel lever - This unlocks the unit and allows the wheels to spin freely. You can easy push the equipment without power. This is especially helpful if you run out of battery power and need assistance.

Hills no power

Sounds like it might be in lock mode or the free-wheel is on. if i remember correctly to unlock push the joy stick forward and hold, turn on the power hold in forwared for about 10 seconds then release turn of and on and should be unlocked. if you are in free wheel push the scooter forward or backward if it is easy to move then the free wheel is on put it to off. and power on and you should be sorted.

No forward, only backward

Hi. If the light flashes 7 times, it has a speed controll fault. It might be the throttle lever ( wig wag ), or it might be the speed pot that controls your top speed.
Try moving the throttle lever ends up and down while you are driving the machine. Doing this wont fix it, but it will highlight the problem, if the throttle lever is faulty. Also try moving the speed pot back and forward a few times.
Good luck. Neil.

I have a ctm scooter the battries are charged fully when i switch on the scooter will not work switch off and on again it then will travel a few feet before stopping

I would say the throttle pot is slightly out of neutral allowing the scooter to travel slightly when turned on. Try moving the throttle lever slightly in the opposite direction to which the scooter is travelling (i.e. if the scooter moves forward when turned on, press the lever to go backwards, but only a small amount). If the scooter stops and you hear a clicking noise from the back of the scooter (this would be the brake clicking on) then that would be your problem. Would just need a small adjustment but best left to a dealer as it has to be sopt on! Sometimes scooters will not work if the throttle is slightly out but if its only a very small amount out of neutral, it might sometimes work in the manner you have suggested. We have come accross this fault on a few occasions. Hope this helps...
