Red light and noise when turning it on

When i turn on my Alesis iM1 Active 520 USBs, the light that is supposed to be blue is just red and both speakers make a thump noise. The same thing happens with no input connected. I found a solution on the internet but my power supply board looks significantly different than the one in the video.

SOURCE: Alesis m1 active 520 when powered up the blue

I I have the same problem. I do not see any visible damage with the power supply and am assuming it's somewhere else. I am talking to Alesis but don't yet know what I'll end up having to do. Have you solved the issue?

After i try to turn it on, I get 1 blue flash and 3 short red flashes and it wont turn on.

When you turn on your headset, the blue light indicates it's on and
the three red flashes indicates a charged headsets. If it's not
turning on after that, try resetting the headset (turn off and on).
Turn it off by pressing the call control button until the indicator
glows red (you'll hear descending tones). Once off, turn it on in the same way (you'll hear ascending tones).

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Alesis M1 Active MKII Don't get power / Blue light is off

Sure they don't have power? Light breaks all the time on those things. If no power still, open it up and find out if there are any loose connections from the power leads. Bad power cable?

I have a plantronics 520,

Start with your headset turned off. Press the talk button on the headset. Hold it until you see the light on the headset begin to rapidly blink red, blue, red, blue, red, blue, etc. Let go, the light should continue to blink red and blue. Go into your phones blue tooth menu and search for the headset. The phone will only find the headset if the headset is in pairing mode (blinking red and blue). The pass key is 0000.

Plantronics 520 will not pair

"Begin with the headset turned off. Press and hold down the silver call control button in for 6-10 seconds. The light will flash blue first. Continue to hold the button down then release the button when the indicator light starts flashing red then blue."
