Red light when turning it on

When i turn on my Alesis iM1 Active 520 USBs, the light that is supposed to be blue is just red and both speakers make a thump noise. The same thing happens with no input connected. I found a solution on the internet but my power supply board looks significantly different than the one in the video.

SOURCE: Alesis m1 active 520 when powered up the blue

I I have the same problem. I do not see any visible damage with the power supply and am assuming it's somewhere else. I am talking to Alesis but don't yet know what I'll end up having to do. Have you solved the issue?

Hi one of my alesis m1 520 speakers has a fault . it powers up ok but theres hardly any sound coming out . you can hear it but its very low

Try reversing cables between speakers just to make sure it's not cable or source. If it is a bad soaker, you'll need to contact Alesis for a local service center near you. Check w/ Guitar Center also, they have access to service.

Alesis M1 Active MKII Don't get power / Blue light is off

Sure they don't have power? Light breaks all the time on those things. If no power still, open it up and find out if there are any loose connections from the power leads. Bad power cable?

Blue led problem in alesis mk1 active

I dont think its anything to worry about, if the unit didnt turn on at all or the LED flickered then you would need a capacitor or 2 changing; check here; http://www.neufeld.newton.ks.us/electronics/?p=232

I have a plantronics 520,

Start with your headset turned off. Press the talk button on the headset. Hold it until you see the light on the headset begin to rapidly blink red, blue, red, blue, red, blue, etc. Let go, the light should continue to blink red and blue. Go into your phones blue tooth menu and search for the headset. The phone will only find the headset if the headset is in pairing mode (blinking red and blue). The pass key is 0000.
