Your have to buy a sandisk memory card reader (the 12 in one type that has connections for different media types) on the other end is a USB cable that you hook up to your computer. this is just my amateur advise but hope it answers your question

Want to know how transfer photos from a Nokia Lumia 521 to the Aluratek Digital Photo Frame

You can either transfer your photos and videos to your computer first (See your NOKIA Lumia 521 Users Manual), and then transfer them from your computer to a MicroSd card that is used with your 8" Aluratek Digital Photo Frame

OR

Your NOKIA Lumia 521 phone supports a MicroSD memory card with a capacity of up to 64 GB. When you take photos and videos using your phone, store them to the Memory Card directly. You can then simply take the memory card out of the camera and insert it into the Aluratek Digital Photo Frame for viewing.

Transferring music files to microSD card

It says on the manual this this phone accepts microSD™
memory cards up to 2 GB (depending on memory
card manufacturer and type). Check with your phone manufacturer if there are known issues with a particular memory card brand.

Also, try connecting the memory card to your computer via memory card reader and see if the card will be detected. That way, you can check whether the card is working or not. Save the music files from the PC to the memory card, then see if the music files will appear when you insert the card to your phone.

How do I transfer information from my lg vantage (ie: pictures) via USB connection to my home desktop pc?

By default, all of the pictures you take with the camera on the phone get saved to the microSD card inserted in the slot. There are two ways you can get the photos (and other data) off the card.

1. Using the USB cable that came with the phone, plug it in your computer. Then, tap the main menu, go to settings (the last tab) and then click 'USB Mode'. There, click USB Mass Storage, and your microSD card will be read by your computer.

2. Remove the microSD card (taking off the back panel and pushing down on the microSD card gently; the card will spring out). Insert the card in a card reader and voila. :)

You can then transfer photos to and from your phone (well... actually memory card :P)
