Hehehe. It's a "husky". The problem is not uncommon even with Husky motorcycles. Some things to check are: Correct sparkplug; correct gap; no carbon buildup: Correct gas/oil ratio mixture, old gas is a NO: Weak or stiff carburetor diaphram. Maybe this will help. I sold mine and a friend sold his because of this specific problem. I also sold my race winning Husky "trials" motorcycle because of this aggrevation.

2003 S-10 2.2 stalls after it warms up when pulling out in in 1st gear

Sounds like it could be a fuel delivery problem. Could be getting too much fuel at takeoff causing it to stall, this being caused by the computer still holding it in cold start mode because the water temperature sending unit is faulty and stuck in a closed position not telling the computer to shut off cold start mode. If this is the case, it would be hard to start after warmed up and using a lot more fuel than normal. If, in act, the engine is not getting enough fuel at takeoff, it could still be the temp sending unit not allowing a signal thru to the computer telling it to place the engine in cold start mode and not giving it enough fuel. This is evident when the engine again is hard to start first thing in the morning. After started and warmed up, it runs fine. Have said temperature checked or changed.

Hard starting, rough idle when cold, then smooth running when warm

Need year/make/model/mileage of vehicle to provide a more specific set of troubleshooting steps.

When was the last tune up? Hard starts when cold are usually caused by fouled spark plugs, worn plug wires, or weak ignition coils. Fuel systems are not as effected by temperature changes as the ignition components.

1998 gmc sonoma 2.2L when motor is warm it is hard to start-floods- start good when cold

Check the fuel pressure regulator. Pull the vac line after it is warm and see if it is leaking gas into the vac line.

Zl 600 1986 is hard starting

Ok, the correct proceedure for starting a cold engine is as follows, pull the choke fully on, and crank over the engine, DO NOT use the throttle when cranking the engine, when the bike fires and starts, slowly turn down the choke until a smooth fast idle achieved. The important thing to remember is, do not use the throttle while the choke is on, as this lets it **** in cold air, and makes for a harder start, remember the choke is there to restrict air flow, make a rich fuel mixture, for cold starting. If that does not work, then mabey u have a carby problem, make sure your choke is coming on.

93'Saturn engine problem:

engine coolant temp sensor is most likely cracked.. I know it sounds strange but pull it if your looking at the engine it is on the right side of the head Will make the car hard to start, smoke, and the idle will often race up and down.. easy to fix 15 dollars or so..

Hard to start in the cold

I believe it's your Throttle Position Sensor.
