SOURCE: kenwood ddx 7019 password reset

Hi,

It looks like the unit has a code programmed into it in the past. If this unit is second hand try contacting the previous owner for the code. If it's new from the shop, then contact the shop. The last option is to contact Kenwood and they can reset the code for you. Unfortunately there is no other way...

a friend of mine who is into bypassing stuff...found this method from sumwhere and it worked on my system...
u need to reset the system first by pressing the small button right next to <ATT> using a ball point pen or something pointed... once it reboots, keep the <SRC> button pressed till the display goes off, then while keeping the <SRC> button pressed, press the <ATT> button for 3 seconds, while keeping both of these pressed at the same time, press the small <RESET> button next to the <ATT> button using something sharp... this hard resets the system and it reboots to a blank screen, press the <SRC> button once and you have all the options working...
anything else, lemme know... [email protected]

Ddx 419 no sound ipod

No offense but this is actually not the solution. There is a quirk with some Kenwood DDX 419. The manual on page 24 makes it clear that it is supposed to play audio through an ipod cable alone, only if you want to stream audio and video or the Garmin App should you need the other cable with the dual plugs (usb and audio). I bought one for my car and had it installed last week and it works right from the USB (only) with my iphone 4s and does not need the extra audio plug in which is inferior sound quality (analog) compared to the USB only (digital). I bought a second deck for my wife's car and had them install it this week and it did not work with the USB alone. The one on demo in Future shop did not work either with the USB alone. The manual for the DDX 419 makes it clear that it is supposed to stream audio without the extra cable. It reads, "To listen to the music (digital): USB Audio cable for iPod/iPhone-- KCA-iP102 (optional accessory). Look up the cable by google searching and you will see that even on the Kenwood site it is a regular iPod/iPhone cable. There is obviously a glitch with certain decks and they are not addressing it. I am returning mine and getting a Pioneer.

Want to connect pc speakers and subwoofer to lg37lc55 tv unfortunaly it doesnt have an earphone 3.5 connection point. My other smaller tv does, the speakers and subwoofer consist of a white and red audio...

Hello,
Your TV should have an AUDIO OUTPUT other than optic..at least " Headphones" output..
You can connect TV audio output with a RCA cable.
white and red audio jack....
since SUB has both RCA and "3,5mm Headphone female Jack"..here are the options;
** you need to buy a cable one end 3,5mm MALE headphone jack and the other end 2xRCA stereo (or 1x RCA for mono or you may need "Y cable " ) to be connected to your TV...
** or 2x RCA
white and red audio jack and connect from your TV..
**" "Headphones" output to SUB with 3,5 male-to-male cable ( the least recommended)
And you need to connect front, centre and rear speakers to your SUB as well...
Take care and if it succeeds please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up
for Helping out the Community :)

Hope this helps!

I have just brought a rx-v367 av reciever and have connected it to my tv/ speakers. speakers work fine when testing set up. however there is no sound coming out when connected to tv. also it keeps coming...

Hi, Yamaha audio-video receivers are equipped with a variety of connecting jacks for hooking up different types of electronic equipment. Component AV cables are typically used for hooking up the receiver to a cable TV box. Component cables can also be used to connect the Yamaha receiver to an HDTV, although a High Definition Media Interface (HDMI) cable offers a simpler connection if the receiver is equipped with HDMI (all HDTV sets are equipped with the distinctive, six-sided HDMI jack). The connections should take less than five minutes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

* 2 sets component AV cables
* HDMI cable

Check the back of the Yamaha receiver to determine if HDMI is available. The six-sided jack contains 19 holes set in three rows. If the receiver is equipped with an HDMI Out port, use an HDMI cable to connect to the TV by inserting the plug straight into the jack with the wider end turned upward.

Insert the red, green and blue plugs on a set of component AV cables into the Video Out jacks on the cable TV box, matching the plug colors to the jacks.

Connect the plugs on the other end to a set of Video In jacks on the back of the Yamaha receiver. Make a note of which jacks are used for the connection. Each set of jacks is labeled on the receiver.

Insert the audio plugs on the component cables into the Audio Out jacks on the cable box, using the white plug for the left channel and the red plug for the right.

Attach the plugs on the other end to the Audio In jacks on the Yamaha receiver.

Use a second set of component AV cables to connect from the AV Out jacks on the Yamaha to the AV In jacks on the HDTV only if an HDMI cable was not used.

I can't get my PS2 to connect to my dual xdvd270

You can connect the PS2 Video out (composite video out) to any of the 2 monitors video connector and the audio at the audio connector, remember to select A/V ext (External Audio and video) both video and audio uses 3,5mm jacks, if it does not work you might need to try to draw out the jacks a little, the connectors are of poor quality so be carefull.

You also might want to check if the right system is selected PAL/NTSC, check the format from your PS2 and set the monitor to accept the same signal type, then it should work fine.

The only thing I am not sure how you do is to get the composite video out of the PS2 but study the manual or google and you will find it I guess, but my guess is that you allready have that part covered.

No sound on ddx 514 kenwwod..when hooked up ipod to usb??

This is a faily simple fix. First of all, this USB will not be able to playback audio from an iPod or iPhone without using the correct cable. The cable needed has both USB and an audio plug on it. Here is a link to the Kenwood cable you will need:

http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/Accessories/KCA-iP200

If you would like playback of iPod video, you will need this cable:

http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/Accessories/KCA-iP301V

A local authorized Kenwood stereo dealer should have these in stock. I hope this information was helpful.

No sound on viewsonic VG730m

you have to connect it via audio cable.
you need a cable with two 3,5mm stereo jacks. this you have to connect with the stereo output of your computer (mostly the green one) with the audio jack on your monitor. it's somewhere on the back i think. sound / volume control you do in windows - its the same as if you connect normal stereo speakers to your computer.
(perhaps you have to unmute or to raise the volume in the monitors os menu)
