I'm running the supplied Nvidia GEforce 5200 graphics card on a Dell Dimension 8200. I attempted to correct a problem in which the display turned itself off randomly for 1 -5 seconds. So I downloaded the latest driver from the Nvidia site for this graphics card. Now the display works correctly only if I start the computer from a cold start. If I just reboot the computer I get a "no signal" on my flat panel display and I'm running blind. Any ideas?
To: Svodon,
it shows that you the video card you installed having loose contact try to dismantle then clean with pencil eraser the contact points(bronze color) on both sides wipe with clean cloth make sure no residues of eraser before you install to prevent mis contact. after cleaning make sure you will install firmly. ihope this will help your problem and hoping your positive response

i have a ATI 9800se graphics card that i removed from a Tiny Demon 3200 pc and put in my sons pc for a while so as he could play a new game he had purchased as the graphics werenot very good from his card.I have now bought a new ATI 9800se card to put back in the Tiny Demon, having installed it i get no display NO SIGNAL INPUT is displayed for a couple of seconds and then the screen is black.I removed the card and tryed it in my sons pc works fine.I even put the original 9800se card back into the tiny and it does exactly the same yet this card worked fine before i removed it.I have since put a NAVIDIA card in the TINY and this woks fine, Any suggestions?
