Hello Friend, this is Z. Thank you for allowing me t to assist you!
If your Frigidaire washer (ATF6000FS2) is displaying PAU, it usually means that the door is not securely latched or the cycle has been interrupted. Try pressing "PAUSE/CANCEL" or "START/PAUSE" once to resume cycle. If these basic troubleshooting tips prove ineffective, try reprogramming your appliance by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is necessary to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn your washer on. If the issue persists, then your washer could possibly have a faulty door latch, wiring harness, or experiencing a communication error with the control board. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

SOURCE: FRIGIDAIRE LTF2940FS1 Error Code "PAU"
Hi PAU is short for pause; the machine detected something wrong so it paused itself. Unplug it from the wall for a minute and plug it back in, it may reset. Once you plug it back in, it should display a Numerical code. You need to find out what's that error code mean. Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

Hi friend, thanks for your inquiry!
If your washer continues to display an error code of "PAU" it could be an issue with your door lock but if the door strike is not sitting properly within the latch your washer will continue to provide the error code "PAU". Additionally, if your control panel is registering that the door is closed you may continue to experience the "PAU" code. I would recommend having a professional come and properly diagnosis your washer to prevent any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this is helpful. -OOS
Hey friend, thank you for the post!
I see from your post that your Frigidaire washer is displaying a PAU code. Normally means the washer has been paused, which could be cleared be pressing either the cancel button or start button once. If that does not clear the code you could try resetting the appliance by disconnecting power. This could be done one of two ways by either unplugging the washer or flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. Please comment back I would like to know if this information has been helpful. -Matt
