Dvp615 not spinning - Zenith DVP615 Portable DVD Player

This is not good, the problem is in the pladder motor that spins the dvd, it has become defective and will need to be replaced in order to correct the problem.

Try using a dvd cleaner on the lens. If that does not work some people use a q-tip with a little rubbing alcohol on it. If niether of those work then the lens is not dirty but broken and will have to be replaced. Any other questionsjust give me a shout.

if the disc doesn't spin, it sounds like a bad motor. can you hear the laser adjust? if you do, then it's probably a dead motor, if you can't hear that laser adjust at all, and the motor doesn't spin at all, the connection might have come undone(they both share a connection)
