In the beginning my dishes came out shiney clean,I have been using my brand new machine since may, the past 2 weeks my dishes dry with horrible spots, why?
Try adding between a teaspoon to a heaping tablespoon of Baking Soda or Washing Soda to your dish washer soap.. Both seem to work. Baking Soda is actually food grade if that worries you. Not supposed to eat Tide pods and people use them in dishwashers. lol. So I have also used Arm an Hammer washing Soda. This is also dirt cheap compared to things like Jet Dry. It not only softens the water it also knocks foaming or suddsing way down. I use a small amount of Dawn or Cascade and some Baking Soda and glasses come out crystal clear. Use dish soap at own risk. It will make a huge foamy mess without Baking Soda or if you get the ratio off too much. Before I tried this my dishes came out covered in horrible white spots so bad I had to hand wash them and the spots were stubborn.
May need some rinse agent. verify the liquid level in the rinse agent bottle.

It is not necesaasry to cover the heating element as long as sufficient water is present so as to not STARVE the water pump.
Listen to the sound of water serging with the machien running. If it is contant you have enough water if the sound comes and goes then the pump is serging . either lyou have a low water level or CLOGGED strainer in the bottom of the machine (inside).
you might also open the door real fast during the wash and check for water splashing and flows---- you might get wet but this way works .(wear protective eye shields)
water levels can be raised by BENDING the tab on the bottom of the float which controls water level...much like a toilet tank float.
Also finally if soap levels are too high the soap will not rinse off regardless of the amount of "rinse fluid you use.

If this dryer is 10 years old or more do not spend any money on it!
The new ones are much more efficient! If you have to replace it buy a Speed Queen , it will do 8 loads a week for 25 years!
It's the last washer and dryer I will ever buy!!!! And less expensive than a top of the line unit!
Good luck!
You will be fine now!
Thank You
Bless you,ngfam1

Hi,
Error Code 20 Indicates a Problem with Drain. You need to make sure that the Hose is not kinked. Then check to make sure that Pump is fine. Filters are all set. Then, you need to Check Pressure Switch to make Sure it is not Defective. If it is Defective, change it unless the last Solution would be main PCB. But, better to Inspect, Verify and Make sure before replacing any part.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
