410 a runs at a much higher pressure then r-22. that is still very high. it would take a temperture over 150 degrees to produce it on a idle system.

contact shops that install units and get quotes. retailers generally have contractors that will give quotes for installation on new units.

This sounds like a freon problem your system probably has a leak in the system somewhere. Amana has tons of problems with there equipment. They make there coils paper thin and they split especially on a heatpump. Amana used to be a good brand and then got bought out by goodman manufacturing and have turned there product into ****. How old is this unit?

Hi, this is very easy to find out. The out door unit has 2- copper lines coming out of it. A small one on the unit, 3/8" and a large one either a 3/4" or 7/8" depending on the size.2- rolls of copper called the line set are silver brazed into the fittings coming out of the outdoor unit of the same size and uncoiled and ran to the indoor evaporator coil. Again, one is brazed into the smaller open fitting, 3/8" and the other into the larger of the two. There is only one way to install these as the open fittings are made for you to put your lines into at the factory and silver braze them. They could have cut a line and did there own design, but that would be wrong. What kind of problems are you having? I have seen installers add to many joints to connect to and they would be in the way of the panels going on right, but its pretty much cut and dry, a larger suction line at each end, and a smaller liquid/discharge line on both ends. Please let me know the problem?

a. Remove bypass cartridge from water filter head in rear
right corner of refrigerator section. Twist cartridge
counterclockwise 1/4 turn and pull down to remove.
Save bypass for use at a later date.

You definately want the compressor to shut on and off with the demand set by the thermostat. It is no different than a full size home split heating and cooling system. You set the thermostat for the temperature you want and then you let the system decide when to run the compressor

Hi.The compressor motor is connected to the refrigerant system, which is not user serviceable. It will be necessary to have the compressor serviced, or replaced by a qualified technician. During this process, the pressurized system will need to be re pressurized. This will require special tools, and regulative equipment, as well. This can be very dangerous, and that is why I prefer to give proper advise on this type of repair. Kindly, contact your nearest service tech.

That part should be well sealed as well as all of the air system. Leaks in the air duct reduce system efficiency.

is it a split system? majority of problems, lets say 95% occur during install, u may have a leak! A pinhole at that, but maybe installer missed it, your out of labor warranty, call a 3rd party contractor and have them inspect it!

Sounds as though the power cord reset switch might be bad and need to be replaced. If not, then there is a short somewhere in the system. Do an ohms test on the switch to determine if it is bad.
