My sony kdl32bx300 t.v screen just flickers?is it repairable?it's 3 yrs old.

it really depends on were the flicker is, if its the backlight or the screen, flicker can mean them both, t-con board only controls the screen out put on lcds, but on plasmas it works with the back light inverters. if the screen is white and not flickering while looking at the back of the screen on an lcd then it could be the t-con board failing it could also be a bad connection to the board from the wires. the plug were the main board connects to the t-con board if you have the back off and wiggle the cable and see if it stops the flicker.

Time for a new TV---cost of just the part alone wholesale is more than another set---A lot this size the Panel or screen unit is not even available.

i have a Sony Bravia KDL-32BX300 the screen is cracked and broken where can i find a replacement screen

Two models of the 46 inch Sony Bravia have a screen flicker problem. On my 2008 model, starting from cold, it lasts for 5-10 min, on LHS of screen. The Telefix tech who visited said this is common with these models (46in only), a new panel is needed. Sony provides warranty on this fault for 3 yrs, so you do not need extended warranty to claim. Discuss your case with Sony or Telefix.

I have the same problem... how did you solve it?

Horizontal lines are either caused by the main logic board, a dammaged screen or by the main x and y drivers. Hard to determine which one it is, but somthing is getting hot which is causing the problem. My guess is the main logic board.

you probably aren't checking this posting out anymore, but maybe someone else will see this and it can help them.
