Error 50 is coming up on my dishlex dx 301 and it is not working. It is about 3 years old.

A 50 Code means an electrical fault
This is something that is triggering the computer to think a conponant has failed
It could be a faulty motor for eg

Sometimes water in the door or condensation under the unit can cause this

Dishlex suggest you call their service center when this code comes up
hope this helps

Dishlex 302 leaks from underneath

Good Morning Friend,

This appears to be a UK Electrolux dishwasher; however, if you have a US Electrolux model, here are a few tips you can attempt to troubleshoot the issue: First, Use only fresh detergent designed for automatic dishwashers. Measure detergent carefully. Possibly try a different brand of detergent. Secondly, spilled rinse aid can cause foam and lead to overflowing. Wipe up any spills with a damp cloth. Lastly, check to see if your dishwasher is level. If your dishwasher is still leaking, after trying the above solutions, I suggest contacting the manufacturer for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.

-Best regards-

The dishlex 302SB is not producing hot water for the washing

I have a Dishlex 302 which had this fault. Initially I thought it was the inline heater element and replaced it. It seemed to work but later no hot water again. Someone here put me on to the problem. There is a dry joint in the control board in the top of the door. This controls the relay which powers up the heater. Unplug it from the mains (very important) and undo the screws around the top of the door (don't take the door right off!) you will be able to wiggle off the front panel containing the electronics. The control board is ealiy disconnected an removed from the machine in its protective plastic cover. Have a look around the PCB and you will see the dry joint. Resolder with rosin core (electronic) solder, reassemble and you should have hot water.

Dishlex dx 302 heat drying

Found I had no hot water in my Dishlex DX302 and did a google search and found this page.

My problem was found to be the same as the others; one of the solder joints on the relay on the control board had arced off.
You could see the burn mark on the board and cover where it had been arcing.

Soldered it back together, and now it seems to be going good again.
Now my only problem is a damaged door seal, which means a small water leak; I have used part of a rubber glove to bridge the gap, and it reduces the water leak.
