cant turn off problem you can try another key.put key in the ignition turn on position for 3 seconds the security light should turn off.then turn off ignition switch wait 5 to 10 seconds try start vechicle if still fails to start.problem in the theft security system.dealership has to code scan problem could be in the ignition switch which is antenna ring.problem could be transponder key or problem could be in the immobilizer control module and ECM.
Disconnect the cable to the battery's negative terminal with a socket wrench. Loosen the filler cap on the fuel tank to relieve the pressure in the fuel tank. Drain the fuel tank by siphoning the fuel into a gasoline container with a hose. Raise the rear of the vehicle with a jack and support it on jack stands. Release the clamps on the hoses for the filler neck and vent tube of the fuel tank. Support the fuel tank with jack stands and detach the support straps for the fuel tank. Lower the fuel tank slightly and disconnect the electrical connections and hose on the fuel tank. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.
Turn the retaining ring on the fuel sender assembly counterclockwise with tool . Remove the retaining ring. Lift the fuel sender assembly out of the fuel tank and pull the fuel pump into the attaching hose while holding the bottom support of the fuel pump in place. Discard the O-ring on the fuel tank.
Install the new fuel pump into the attaching hose of the fuel sender assembly. Use care to avoid bending the fuel strainer since this will restrict fuel flow. Place a new O-ring on the fuel tank and install the fuel sender assembly into the fuel tank.
Place the locking ring on the fuel sender assembly and turn it clockwise with tool until the ring locks into place.
Install the fuel tank by reversing step 1. Pressurize the fuel system by turning the ignition on for two seconds and turning it off for 10 seconds. Turn the ignition on and check the fuel lines for leaks.
The ringing/dinging only started last friday, so its not when i put the key in it. Its a fast ringing and when i take the key out it does it for like 45 seconds
Could be two things, first is DND or do not disturb. Make sure that its turned off by either pressing the DND button or feature #85.The second is that the ringing wasn't turned on in programming.
To set up ringing you need to enter programming by pressing the feature key followed by **266344.When prompted to enter the password enter 266344. The screen should say TERMINALS&SETS. The 4 top line/feature keys are now used for programming. At the terminals&sets prompt, press the show key (top right arrow). The display should now ask for an extension number. Enter extension number you wish to program ringing on. Press the show key (top right arrow) The display should sat LINE ACCESS Press the show key (top right arrow) . The display should say LINE ASSIGNMENT. Press the show key (top right arrow) . The display ask for a line number. press list The display should sat line 001: appear only press CHNG til it says appear &ring. press next key (lower right arrow) The display should say line 002: appear only Repeat same procedure as line 001 til all available lines are done press the release key when finished
Try holding the power button down for at least 10 to 15 seconds. That should turn it off. Turn it back on. If this doesn't work, try taking the battery out for a few seconds. If it still comes up with only the blue ring on, called Sandisk tech support to try to get an RMA.

Have you reset it? Grab a needle or a end of a ear-ring and put it in the hole located right of the ear phone jack, once you hear a button being pressed down, hold for 5 seconds and then it should turn on. As for recongnization, try different USB ports on your computer.
