I have a 50 inch Samsung Model HLN 5065WX/XAA. While watching, the picture will turn to snow. I can turn off and turn back on and it works fine for a while then does the same thing. Any ideas?

Did it work with the Y-sustain board replaced? Likely if it did not work then there is an issue with the capacitors on the Y-sustain board and the power board. Check these caps for failure and replace them with the exact type. Likely the caps are blown and cause voltage loss in one or both boards.

As ima_rm2000 noted, the HLN is manual focus. There is a focus ring at the base of the lens assembly. Here is PDF of the focus assembly. You have to remove the back of the set to access this, and tape/tie the lamp door switch closed so the TV will power up so you can focus it.
