Not a clipper adjustment problem, Has the clipper had a new hinge fitted?

Once a blade has been successfully fitted to your clipper will it go back on easier? ( this is normal as the clipper will make the blade socket the right width?

You should only connect a blade whilst the clipper is running so that the lever can locate into the blade.

depends on where the cord is broken. find the spot thats come apart and cut it out, resplice the cord and your good to go. of course your warranty will be no good, but how often do they replace things that way any way. even if they do you have to wait weeks for the replacement.

Moser Switchblade, check you have current running into the clipper I Suspect in this case maybe Not and therefor a faulty powercable which can be fairly costly

How do I reduce my clipper's rattling noise and still be able to cut properly?

The power screw is the correct way to adjust the problem you describe. If you have attempted to adjust it as instructed in the user manual and have not had satisfactory results, there may be a problem with the clippers.

How do reassemble the blade for Wahl 8552

I had the same problem with the Wahl Pro Series Rechargeable model 8552, and called Wahl service. Here is what I learned:
Never unscrew the screws on a Wahl blade (they use those funky nonstandard screws to deter you) -- that's the main thing. The whole blade assembly is supposed to come off by pulling it up and off from the teeth.
But, if you did it (as I did), you can put it back together this way:
1. Place the large blade down on the table (Wahl logo down), and place the small blade on top of it (if you look carefully, you will see how it lines up).
2. Insert the spring points into the two holes of the white plastic part (on mine, the spring kept slipping out and I finally used a drop of superglue on each hole until it would stay in long enough to complete the assembly). Place that piece on top of the small blade (see photo).
3. The bent metal piece with the two screw holes then gets placed on top of the large blade, with the center ridge of the bent piece over the straight center portion of the spring -- so that you have to hold it in your hand and push it together against the spring in order to align the holes of the entire thing. As you are holding that, put the screws in from below and tighten. It's awkward and if you are like me, it will take several tries before you can get it all lined up correctly and tightened. The photo below is what the final assembly looks like before snapping it onto the clipper.
3. Clip it in: At the top of the assembly in the photo below, notice the small bent metal piece that will fit into the back of your clipper in the hole. Once you fit that properly, push the whole assembly down onto the clipper until it snaps into place.

How to reassemble blades on Wahl rechargeable unit

I had the same problem and I eventually figured it out. The blade assembly has to be reassembled first then snapped back into place.

1. the bottom part has a little "nub" that the screws attach to
2. the second part is the thin piece of metal with a ridge
3. the white plastic thing, make sure the ridges are sandwiched together
4. the small blade, the blades must face each other
5. the large blade

use the 2 screws to hold the assembly together, once assembled it snaps into place on the clipper. See attached picture for how it should look once assembled.

It's STUPID that this is missing from the instruction guide that comes with the clippers.
