Well I did a google search on A75 series and found that this is a manufacturing issue and that Toshiba should call back the laptop or provide a replacement free of cost.

What happens is that there are two cooling fan at the bottom of the laptop and the works as vacum cleaner..it blocks the heat vent and overheat the system and shuts down...at some point it does affect the powersupply and the hardware guy only has to say that we need to replace the motherboard, so if the motherboard if messed up coz of the way laptop is designed then Toshiba should replace the part.

Toshiba A75 Wont Boot up

It sounds like you may not have made a good connection to the motherboard from the screen when you put everything back together.

When you press the power button does the screen come on and then go off or does it not come on at all ?

If it comes on then turns off try to eject the CD-Rom that will be a definitive test of whether your power is still on, assuming your cd-rom is not totally mechanical.

A75 s226 wont boot

If it says that the hard drive is not detected, then most probably its a busted hard drive. I doubt it's a motherboard issue since it was able to tell you that it can't find a hard drive. Plus the fact that there are spinning noises which can only come from either the hard drive or the fans.
