Most new window units have a ground fault circuit. More than likely, the outlet you are using is Not grounded or the Neutral and Hot side are reversed. They make a tester you can purchase at most home improvement stores. I would go buy one and test the outlet. You could have other outlets with the same problem. You have to use a 3 wire outlet. Large side of outlet=neutral, small side of outlet=hot, round or arched hole=earth ground.

My washing machine is only beeping and all lights flashing

I don't know the make or model number of the unit, but most likely the beeping and/or lights flashing is a digital error code being displayed. I need more info to better help you with your issue. If the lights are blinking in a pattern(ex 2 blinks followed by 4 blinks) or certain functions are blinking in a pattern over and over, that is an error code display which must be interpreted. The machine is trying to tell you where the problem is.

Error code 04?

There is no error code 4
The unit is probably set at 4 hours operation.
To change it turn unit off then back on
Now press and hold up arrow ti'll the unit beeps
now press and hold down arrow ti'll unit beeps again
Now either quickly press the up arrow or down arrow until you get the hours of operation you desire
once you have the hours flashing simply re-peat the long holding of the up arrow ti'll it beeps and down again ti'll it beeps once the beep then the # will quit flashing wait 10 minutes or so for chlorine generator to start

The Drying light flashes and the unit beeps about once per second. At the same time the unit acts like it is washing (sounds of water washing insiide. The bottom is oompletely full of water.

so its beeping and flashing once per second correct this beeping and flashing is an error code that your unit is giving blinking lights or beeping sounds may indicate a problem with the dishwasher caused by power surges. To correct the problem, try pressing the "Start/Reset" pad to reset the dishwasher. If the problem persists, reset (reboot) the control by turning off the circuit breaker supplying the dishwasher for 30 seconds. Turn the circuit breaker back on and the dishwasher should function normally if you still have the flashing and beeping message me back Im going through the error code book as I type this if it still persists after you turned off the power then back on message me back with the number of beeps within 60 seconds as well as the number of flashing lights for instance if it does it every second or once every 5 seconds also if you have any further questions message me back them as well and please remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situaitons Thanks Rick

All i get is a beeping My gt5220 will not boot...help

Does there seem to be a pattern to the beeps? (long beep, pause, long beep or 3 beeps and a pause) The codes will depend on the motherboard and BIOS manufacturer. One of the Gateway code lists: http://support.gateway.com/s/MOTHERBD/Intel2/WMEBLKD925XBCLK/WMEBLKD925XBCLKfaq17.shtml .

One beep is a CPU error. Three beeps is a memory error - you can remove and reseat the memory one stick at a time to find a bad stick causing them all to fail. Eight beeps is a video error.

I hope this helps.

Dell power edge 2850 make 4 seconds beeps alarm without stopping and without show any error Msg on the screen.

I don't understand the beep code you describe, but the 2850 has many beep codes to help understand what is going on.

First ... Identify the beep. Does the beep start as soon as you power it on, or after several seconds? What is the pattern of the beep - is it a repeating set of beeps - 3 sets of beeps between 1 and 4 beeps ... like 1 beep-3 beeps-2 beeps, or 3 beeps, 3 beeps, 1 beep? Or is it a steady repeating beep - about once per second?

Second ... is the LCD panel on the server blue or orange? If orange, what is the error code(s) it is scrolling?

If it is a steady, once-per-second beep, it is probably your RAID controller. Does the system boot to Windows/OS ok? If so, use (or install) OpenManage Server Administrator (Managed Node from Dell's Support Site) to check the Hardware Logs and check the RAID array (under Storage/Virtual Disks). If it is not booting to the OS, then go into CTRL-M to see what the status of your array is.
