If you are referring to the transmission, I believe it's a sealed unit.

  • 3-Speed gear box
  • Transmission: Wide-faced, hardened alloy steel, helical gears fully sealed in transmission lubricant with heavy-duty ball bearings and clutch combine for highly dependable, quiet operation.

Testimonial: "Yes I was deferring to the Trans. The oil still needs to be changed, as the sticker on the side says, every year. My question is how do you get the OLD oil out of the sealed trans."

My Hobart grinder is old vintage it has 3 or 4 oil ports do I still use Mobil DTE HM OIL? How much in each port?

Steve I dont know that that is necessary. I have 2 a big heavy monster and a little #12 and I check for full and keep going. I only use mine in winter for sausage and its 50# in 120 sec. not much wear and tear on the lube. I know Hobart has a good web and mobile service here. Mine are Old and I'm guessing yours are too.

Left my honda petrol cement mixer upside down and now it won't start. How to I get it to work again?

There is probably oil in the cylinder. Remove spark plug drain oil and fuel and get carb cleaner spray in to cylinder wait five mins and empty out. Refill crank case with oil and clean spark plug. Fill gas tank note it might smoke for about 10 to 15 mins as it burns off remaining oil.

How much oil does my H 600 Mixer hold ( Hobart in the Transmission

1 gallon of 90w Gear Oil -- can be purchased from AUTOZONE! Make sure when you have completely drained from the large drain screw from under the mixer toward the back of where the attachments go on but not part of the part that spins around known as the Beater shaft! Once you have drained out all of the oil -- from the top where the front screw attaches the head or cap of the mixer -- add the oil there and make sure you are watching the sight glass to see when it is at the HALF way mark in other words when the oil level (TIP: Use a bright led flashlight to shine directly at this sight glass to view level) reaches to the midway mark of the oval sight glass, THEN STOP! It is full! Carefully start mixer on 1st gear and then 2nd so on and so forth to make sure everything is getting relubricated correctly and slowly -- don't just go setting it on 3rd or 4th speeds as you want to baby the mixer when you just put in new gear oil

    Hope that helps!

Dishwasher will not drain at the end of cycle

Can you hear the drain pump humming or running?

If so, undo your drain hose from the drain or under your sink (if applicable) and look inside the spiggot (or small pipe) where you removed the drain hose from.

    It may be blocked?

Repost if you need anymore help.

    Thanks,
    Adrian.
