How to install ll550/7 sound driver - NEC LaVie S LS900/8E Notebook

Hi,
If you getting bad sound driver, its problem related to your sound driver. Check device manager that your system sound driver installed or not. If driver not installed, install it form your motherboard CD or download it form motherboard model official web site like Intel, gigabyte etc.

If driver installed already then uninstall them and reinstall again your sound driver will properly.

make sure the volume is not on mute... if thats not the problem go to device manager to make sure u have sound driver install... if u dont have any sound driver install go to ur manufacture website and download and install the driver.

did you install the exact sound driver for your sound card? try uninstalling the sound driver and reinstall it again then turn off first your anti virus if you do have one before installing. this will sometimes block the software driver.thanks

Here are the links for the sound driver Dell Inspiron 6400. You have to select the correct audio driver and operating system to run on your computer. If you are not sure download all the audio or sound driver and then install after download. No sound means you did not installed the sound driver or if installed but not working properly. Installing these software will update your sound then it will work after update or installing the sound driver. Have a nice day.

Sounds like you haven't installed sound card drivers. Check in hardware manager.

HAVE YOU UN-INSTALLED THE PREVIOUS SOUND DRIVER BEFORE YOU TRYING TO INSTALL THIS ONE? IF NOT, AND YOU ALREADY HAVE A SOUND DRIVER INSTALLED, YOU WILL HAVE TO UN-INSTALL IT OR DISABLE IT UNTIL YOU GET THE NEW ONE INSTALLED. THEN SET THE NEW DRIVER AS YOUR DEFAULT DRIVER ONCE INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE.

Try downloading Microsoft UAA drivers for Vista
Uninstall any sound drivers through device manager then install UAA drivers and reboot
Then update sound drivers through device manager. Will go on net and find and install them 90% of the time

change from windows to xp,but sound driver was not loaded/installed so there is no audio sound in
