1. does machine light up on control board? no. check breaker box or try plugging a lamp into the same outlet to see if it works. for this problem you may need a repair man to look at it.

could be just the fuse, but failing that check all circuit boards for signs of blowing or burns, some machines when there is a short on the pump blow the circuit on the timer which is the most expensive part to replace best of luck

I had the same problem... the lock on light was blinking continuously. The solution required disassembling the door to get to the control panel electronic board. You'll notice a flat transparent cable coming out of one end, twisting under the board and going into the door panel. In the middle of the door, there's a number of wires taped together that curled over the flat cable. Look for any black tape residue on the flat cable, which seemed to be causing a short circuit and confusing the electronics. After carefully removing the tape residue from the flat cable, the problem went away.

Well I had the same problem and wow was I surprised man. I have a code machine that plugs into my car and tells me what wrong with it then I fix it. It read that I had a misfire #1 so that means my spark plug is dirty or something like that. When I took off the spark plug it was smashed in that was a good sign.. I called a mechanic friend of mine and he said that my head and piston were damaged but would not really know unless he took it apart. What he said was true and cost me a great deal of money..!!!! Now searching the web I have found that there many jeep liberty with the same problem just different spark plug locations so I wonder if Jeep knows of this issue but will not acknowledge it.. It seems that your pump needs a good service. The sucktion and delivery valves got faulty. The high pressure seals and the low pressure seals must be renewed. The pistons must be checked for corrosion and cracks. Also the pistons or one of the pistons got stuck due to oncorrect lubrication. The swash plate that drives the pistons could have got loose. So the motor turns and the pump stays dead. So a good examination and service must be done to the pump. To renew all the parts I have mentioned, you must buy a PUMP KIT for you model. The pistons are not included in the pump kit....but hopefuly the pistons are still good. Also the oil inside the pump must be renewed.
