How do you bypass the pour water alert - Hamilton Beach BrewStation 47214 Coffee Maker

Don't bypass electrical contactors, replace it. Bypassing it will burn out the switch and possible cause a fire.

A switch or circuit tells the contactor to supply power and a solenoid smashed the double pole contacts together, 2 negatives and 2 positives. The switch doesn't carry the power, the contactor does.

It sounds like a couple things. First, ensure the bypass valves are closed. There should be two near the city connection that drains water from the general water lines to your camper. The other will be to drain the fresh water storage tank. If the pump is running and the drain valves are closed, the water should be directed into the camper faucets and toilet.

The comfort alert control modules fail and will not allow any action to the unit. I've bypassed them and it worked fine but then you don't have that safety to lean on. The alert senses high or low amperage/voltage to the compressor (if I recall correctly) only. If you have 24v to the alert module, and you have allowed time for the delay to pass (usually 3-5 mins), and the module is not sending 24v to the board, then that module has probably given up. If you have 24v at the board then the problem is at the board or one of the safeties connected to it. I've had the sales rep and the parts house manager both tell me that the alert module is a poor design. Its just as simple to bypass the alert and install a delay on make/break timer unless its still under warranty.

The following suggestion is as old as the water cooled engine but it still works better than any solution you can buy at an auto parts store.

Total cost: $2.00

1. Drain1.5 gallons of water from the radiator.
2. Close the drain **** and add one gallon of boiling water.
3. Pour in one pound of baking soda.
4. Pour in one pint of distilled white vinegar.
5. Replace the radiator cap immediately.
6. Run your vehicle for fifteen minutes.
7. Flush the radiator and fill with clean water.

If that didn't do the job, you are going to have it boiled out at your local radiator shop. The cost will be approx. $30.

On a chevrolet the water pump gaskets sometimes had extra tab on them. I think it may have been for an optional bypass in the pump. It is normal for a hole to be showing (in other words). I would think it would be hard for water to pour out of that gasket. The water pump was just replaced? Maybe too long of a bolt was used. Possibly the water pump wasn't tightened up right and the housing is cracked? Chevrolet is one of the easiest water pumps to put on, I can't imagine what else could be wrong. Maybe bolts were never tightened. Hope one of these may help you.

drain radiator, remove fan, disconnect bypass hose from top of water pump. remove mounting bolts, clean gasket surface and install new pump and gasket. re assemble and pour coolant back into radiator

If you pour water into the machine, and water comes out, then the reservoir is full of water. There is no way the water can bypass the reservoir and go directly into the pot.

It sounds as if the filter head is broken after the check vavle since it doesnt leak until filter is installed or bypass plug. one thing you may check before you call for service is remove the filter head cover and check to see if a water line is pulled loose otherwise I recomend you call GE for warranty service. thanks peyton

If this is a Pure source 2 filter in the upper right hand side of fridge, Purchase an Electrolux filter bypass, P/N 241944302. This is a empty cartridge that lets water flow without water drip when filter is clogged. Fridgidaire/Electrolux made no bypass in these filters, so when clogged they leak. Plus they NEVER last more than about 30/60 days. If you use the bypass, you will need a separate filter elsewhere such as in water line under sink or behind fridge.
